Michael Abdul
Mike has been recruiting for FinTechs & FS firms since 2012 and has experience in London and New York. He worked at Aston Carter for 6 years before starting Scene, a more generalist technology agency but realised he wanted to focus on solely helping Financial Markets Tech companies with their niche requirements. Outside of work Mike enjoys watching sport, going to live music and relaxing with his partner Claire, son Raff and two cats – King Leonidas & General Maximus (he didn't pick the names!)

Jack Bowen
Jack has been recruiting for FinTechs & Hedge Funds since 2010 and has experience in London and New York. In New York, he led a team of 10+ recruiters but has decided that being hands on again is
where his passion lies. He really enjoys collaborating closely with clients and candidates and offering a Consultative service. Jack’s specialisms lie in Software Engineering recruitment and he has placed candidates in all major Backend Technologies. Jack has pursued many adventures outside of work; notably, he ran the London Marathon in 2010 and climbed Kilimanjaro in 2022.
The 5% Pledge
Volition pledges 5% of profit to charity every year. As a business owner, you should end up making more money and paying less tax than if you were an employee. Whilst that's totally fair to companies with huge ambitions we don't envision scaling Volition too much.
So this pledge is a way to ensure we’re giving back. Whether that be existential crises such as climate change, addressing workplace imbalances or just causes that are dear to us – we knew this was something we wanted to get right from the off.
